Ok its that time again when I try to muster up all my fellow racers to see whos going to DuneFest to race.
Team Race (Or Ironman, I prefer the punishment!) on Friday the 5th and the MX on Saturday the 6th.

Ok Tim. What's it take to run this race on sat. What time to show up, where do you park, how are the crowds? I would like to race but don't want to be stressed out by a ocean of people.
I appreciated your responses on the swamp creek discussion, nice defence for quads and riders.

No went to the lake instead, road a seadoo around for a while. They are fun but just not the same as running through the dirt on 4 wheels.
Some good points were made on the swamp creek debate. Where are all the quad?
The three utilitly quads at swamp creek, came with me, and I will try to get more people that I know to participate (including my kids and wife).
I think some are nervous to race, but all the guys at these event for the most part are courtious and good sports.
I do apoligize to any that were stuck behind one of the utilitly quads, it was his first time out and he didn't like giving up a place even when the place wasent in his class.
Us riders of farm implements need to band together.

jet ski?I too was upset about the negative reaction we get at these events , and like Jeff said how he's nearly quit the series but love s the racing.I dont see how we can tear up a track worse then the bikes(we are only running 4 to 6 inchs of ground clearence)I'll be racing the rest of the season on my grizly since im without a sport quad now,and that was my first race back in 3 years and i'm still stoked about how much fun i had .

Sorry I didnt get back to you Ron but I was already over there.

Took 1st in the 450 30 minute Ironman then 2nd in the 1 hour Ironman rite after on Friday.
On Saturday took 1st in the 40+.

All in all a good week end. Didnt break anything and came home in one piece!!
