YOU ARE INVITED

Your organization is invited to send a representative to an invitation only Recreation Access Forum on August 21, 2004. At this meeting, we will meet and strategize with recreationists from all over the state about the issue that impacts us all---access to public lands. Each year the pressure increases and acre-by-acre we lose our right to venture onto our public lands. If we are going to stop this trend, we must unite and act now. We cannot afford to put this off any longer!

It is crucial that all recreational groups have a seat at the table as we discuss the current political climate, current access issues and possible solutions. Topics may include new Wilderness, “emergency” road and trail closures, Endangered Species Act, wildfire restoration, and many more. United we stand, divided we fall.

Location: Papa’s Pizza, 20265 Meyer Dr., Bend, Oregon (behind Taco Bell and next to Fred Meyer on Hwy 97)

Time: 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P. M. (Lunch will be provided)

Since this is an invitation only event, it is necessary for you to RSVP, we need to have a list of all those who plan to attend by August 17, 2004.
