About me:
My favorite riding area:
Anywhere I don't fall down.
My first bike: 125 Bultaco
When I first started riding: I started riding in my teenage years. Watching my brother ride his bike - I
was told it was for boys, not girls.
My riding experience: I have been riding for over 30 plus years. I have ridden in the
Tillamook Burn until it became the Tillamook State Forest. I used to race the
events, but then I discovered that I spent more time helping downed riders and
that I didn't have the competition in me. Although I don't feel
I am a good rider, I do enjoy riding and seeing the world with no hassles. Being
outdoors with no phones, computers or major responsibility is such a grand
feeling.
My favorite saying:
Why I became an OMRA Officer: You can thank Billy Toman and Steve Doan for allowing me to become involved.
A long time ago, I was at a race and Steve and Billy were there. The event
wasn't going very smoothly, so I told them what I thought. Both Steve and
Bill politely said instead of complaining to them, why didn't I do something - so
I did.
I'd also like to say: I love the sport of off-road riding.
