About me: I am a techie out at Intel so don't hit me.  I don't wear corduroy pants, a 1970's orange shirt, or glasses I don't need, but I do enjoy programming computers to get them to do what I want.  I travel to India once a year and have specialized in computer based training software for ten years.  I have a great wife from Idaho whose the mother of six kids, two of them teenage boys, that have taken up riding with me for the last four years.  We're new to the sport but have loved it from the start, always a good time and my wife is a great supporter of boys and riding so that helps.  I grew up in San Diego and Arkansas which are very similar actually.  In Arkansas I learned to love to be outside on my gramma's farm, play with dogs, work, run through the woods and drink out of unknown rivers.  I studied a little ka-ra-te' then gave it up for riding because it's more fun and gets me outside.

Favorite riding areas: Eddieville, China Hat, Crazy Acres, Browns camp for close-by

First bike: Yamaha YZ125

When I first started riding: Sitting behind my cousin on his mini-bike as he drove off the dirt road into sticker bushes, which was when I first developed a love of riding.  My own riding sadly didn't begin until 2003 but at night I dreamed of every trail and turn we road down and got the itch.  Now I want to build and pass on a tradition of riding to my kids.

Riding experience: Picked up a little bit in high school riding friends bikes where I ran over one friends dog.  Picked up some used bikes 4 years ago and sort of self-taught me and my kids.  Met up with other riders in the area and have been trying to learn a little more.  Spend time riding locally at Crazy Acres, Browns camp, Bend, and Eddieville.  We've been learning on several bikes (Suzuki RMZ250) and then ending up this year on KTM models (450XC for me, 200's for the teens) and were excited to break them in and do a little more racing next year.

Favorite saying: Don't take slow for an answer

Why I Became an OMRA Officer: I like the people I get to associate with and I want to get involved with what's going on in the state and help ensure freedoms to ride for future generations.
